Slime can last for at least one year and beyond if properly cared for. Timeframe varies based upon use and exposure. It is normal for slime to deflate and shrink over a period of time.

It’s best to store slime in an airtight container. If you don’t have a container, no problem at all! A Ziploc bag will do the job. Ziploc bags will allow you to release the excess air and allows plenty of space for storage. Keep slime in a cool environment and avoid heat, direct sunlight and extreme cold places.

There are a few answers to this question…. The slime could be over activated, if so, add a small amount of warm water to your slime. If your slime is pretty old, then gradually add small amounts of lotion to rid of the evaporation.

Just simply add small amounts of lotion to soften the mixture until its perfect.

Apply an ice-cube to small sections where the slime is located, leave it there for a few minutes, and that will allow the slime to harden an make it easy to remove.
